Traditionally, software has been built in a similar way to houses. During the first stage of planning, blueprints are drawn. The house is then constructed and finally the build is subject to strict safety tests to ensure it meets high standards before being offered to the customer.
This can be a drawn out, lengthy process which can happen over a series of months or worse years! There is often no option for change once the project has begun which makes the process restrictive.
However, at Innovate we recognise that software is not a house and business requirements are not set in stone.
